About Bylefian
A visual lab for data structures and the algorithms that make them useful.
Bylefian starts with the problem, explains the structure in plain language, builds a useful mental model, and shows where the idea is used. Every module then pairs a guided visual trace with step explanations, pseudocode, live metrics, and a short challenge.
Visual curriculum
The 24 modules move from arrays, lists, sorting, and search to balanced trees, graph algorithms, range-query structures, and string matching. If an idea cannot be taught through a concrete visual trace, it is not included.
Progress and privacy
No account is required. Completed modules and challenge scores remain in local storage on the student's device. Bylefian does not send this learning record to a backend.
Funding
Bylefian is free to use. Advertising funds research, writing, visual tools, and hosting. Ads are kept separate from learning and challenge controls.
